'A Dog's Way Home' Trailer: Bella Brings Joy To Everyone On Her Long Journey Home

We have a new dog movie coming our way, which is enough to make me one happy guy. A Dog's Way Home is based on New York Times best-selling author W. Bruce Cameron's novel of the same name. I am already in love with Bella, as you will too when you watch the A Dog's Way Home trailer below!

For this new movie, you are going to watch the adventures of Bella, a dog that is separated from her beloved owner, Lucas. She embarks on an amazing 400-mile journey to get back to Lucas, who happens to be an aspiring med student and VA hospital volunteer. Of course, Bella touches the lives of many during her journey back to her owner. Those touched by Bella happen to be an orphaned mountain lion cub to a homeless veteran down on his luck. I mean, if you aren't crying already, this movie is definitely going to bring those tears our for you.

A Dog's Way Home cast includes Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World and The Help) as the voice of Bella. We also have Ashley Judd as Lucas' mother, Jonah Hauer-King as Jonah and Alexandra Shipp, Wes Studi and Edward James Olmos.

The movie is directed by Charles Martin Smith and the screenplay was co-written by Cameron and Cathryn Michon. It just so happens that Cameron was the bst-selling author of the book "A Dog's Purpose," which was made into a movie in 2017 starring Dennis Quaid and Josh Gad. A sequel is actually in development right now for A Dog's Purpose, so it's a busy time for Cameron and his books.
