Jim Carrey is taking his gun control advocacy to work now, and is in a position to help advertise the push for tighter restriction on guns, by refusing to show any support for the ultra violent Kick Ass 2, in which he co stars. He apologised to fellow actors in the following tweets (taken from @jimcarrey);
"I did Kickass a month b4 Sandy Hook and now in all good conscience I cannot support that level of violence. My apologies to e"
"I meant to say my apologies to others involve with the film. I am not ashamed of it but recent events have caused a change in my heart."
This is in response to last year's Newtown shootings.
