All of the talk in Marvel world has been on Avengers: Infinity War, but you may have noticed someone was missing from that movie: Ant-Man! He may have gone missing for Infinity War, but that is because Ant-Man was busy on his own movie, as Ant-Man and the Wasp comes out this summer and a new trailer was released today.
In the new Ant-Man and the Wasp trailer, we see a lot action from the tiny superheroes, as Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and his new partner, Wasp (Evangeline Lilly). For the first time, Marvel is also giving us a look at their mysterious new foe, Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen). Luis (Michael Peña) aptly wraps up the current state of things to Hank Pym (Michael Douglas): “She stole your tech. Now she wants to take over the world, or whatever.”
From the original teaser trailer, we can see that Ant-Man and the Wasp is set before the events from Avengers: Infinity War. So, if you have not seen Infinity War yet, then you are safe to watch this and not get any spoilers. This is the aftermath of Ant-Man's decision to join Steve Rogers in Captain America: Civil War. We also see the ongoing attempt to rescue Hank Pym's wife Janet Van Dyne - better known as the original Wasp - from "the quantum realm."
