'Spies In Disguise' Movie Trailer: Will Smith and Tom Holland Star In Animated Spy Comedy

Will Smith and Tom Holland are lending their voices to this animated spy comedy, as the first Spies in Disguise trailer has been released. Of course, Smith plays a suave super-spy and Holland plays an ungainly tech whiz. Spies in Disguise is loosely based on Lucas Martell's 2009 cartoon short Pigeon: Impossible. It also marks the feature directorial debut for longtime Blue Sky animators and story artists Nick Bruno and Troy Quane. Check out the Spies in Disguise trailer below!

The movie also seems to be a riff on the dynamic between James Bond and his gadget man Q from the James Bond franchise. Here is the official synopsis for Spies in Disguise:

Super spy Lance Sterling (Will Smith) and scientist Walter Beckett (Tom Holland) are almost exact opposites. Lance is smooth, suave and debonair. Walter is... not. But what Walter lacks in social skills he makes up for in smarts and invention, creating the awesome gadgets Lance uses on his epic missions. But when events take an unexpected turn, Walter and Lance suddenly have to rely on each other in a whole new way. And if this odd couple can’t learn to work as a team, the whole world is in peril. SPIES IN DISGUISE is an animated comedy set in the high-octane globe-trotting world of international espionage.

Spies in Disguise also stars Ben Mendelsohn, Karen Gillan, Rashida Jones, DJ Khaled and Masi Oka. Check out the Spies in Disguise trailer here:
