'The Upside' Trailer: Bryan Cranston And Kevin Hart Join Forces For This New Movie

Kevin Hart and Bryan Cranston are joining forces, as The Upside trailer has been released. Kevin Hart plays a recent felony parolee who needs a job. Bryan Cranston plays a quadriplegic billinoaire that is in need of a caretaker. Dell (Kevin Hart) may not be qualified for the job, but once he sees the pay, he can make it work? While it doesn't seem like Dell and Phillip (Bryan Cranston) would have a friendship, it works for both of them. Even though he was not qualified for the job, Dell gets it and the pair get along very well. We learn that Phillip has more money than Jay Z and Dell says Phillip can have any girl that he wants. The dramaedy has to throw in the funny parts, as Dell adds, “What about this lady with all the Botox? Y’all’d be perfect for each other — you can't move your body, and she can’t move her face.”

Nicole Kidman, Julianna Margulies and Aja Naomi King also star in The Upside, which is a remake of the 2011 French dramaedy The Intouchables, which happens to be one of the highest-grossing non-English-language films of all time.

There have been some issues with the release of The Upside though, as it was originally with the Weinstein Company and was set to be released in March 2018. However, the scandal with Harvey Weinstein caused havoc with it and they missed the release date because there was no money to promote it. Latern Capital took possession of TWC's assets and then set the film for release via STX!
